Monday Night Social Club
  • Ages 13 and up
Middle school students, high school students, and young adults from the special population can enjoy a variety of games while meeting new friends in an informal, supervised format. Each week has a different theme or activity and special events are planned seasonally. Activities include birthday celebrations, seasonal crafts, pool, air hockey, mini golf, games in the park and semi annual holiday celebrations and dances. Please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 860-648-6355 for more information.

Challenger Basketball
Challenger is a basketball program for young athletes with disabilities. This program will provide these boys and girls in grades 2-5 an opportunity to learn the basic skills and play the game of basketball. Each participant will be assisted in developing their skills of the game, raising their level of self-esteem and having fun.

Each athlete will have a buddy which is a high school student or coach. Sign up soon as spots are limited!
