Campers Achieving Maximum Potential (CAMP)
Trust, learn, grow! Bridge the gap between school and summer by joining
us for a week of fun in team-building, problem-solving, and
confidence-boosting activities. This hands-on program includes incoming
6th - 8th graders in activities that encourage developing critical like
skills including communication and social skills along with frustration
management and emotional control. Through cooperative activities and
games, campers will learn strategies which will help them succeed in
their everyday activities at home and at school.
Camp instructors include Timothy Edwards Middle School (TEMS) Social
Worker Tara Kozik and School Psychologist Lindsey Pantera. Campers will
be exposed to team building activities through the use of Parks and
Recreation Ropes Course as well as arts/crafts and games. Meet new
friends and achieve success in a supportive leisure environment. This
camp is perfect for kids who have trouble transitioning between school
and summer vacation.
Note: This is a Parks and Recreation program and not a Special Services program.
