This year at VMP there will be featured events for fun on the specified dates below. All activities are meant to bring an added element of fun to the pool. All events will be run by VMP Staff. As a member there is no cost to participate in these events (unless otherwise noted). If you are not a member, all activities will be included in daily pass purchased at the pool entrance (unless otherwise noted). Please browse our events from 2010. Check back in March for our 2011 events!

Pooch Plunge at the Pool

Monday August 27th 5-7:30pm

Bring your four-legged friend for an evening of fun and swimming at the pool. On Monday August 27th 5-7:30pm, VMP will welcome dogs for some leash free swimming. Dogs of all sizes are welcome! People will not be allowed in the pools and all dogs must have a current registration and current proof of vaccinations. This is a free event.

Please note, this event will occur after the end of the swim season, and no people will be using the pool after the event.

Sundae Sunday

Sundae Sunday 12:00-4:00pm
There will be ice cream sundaes available for purchase for $1 at VMP! Come create your own sundae with many topping, whipped cream, and of course cherries. Sundaes will be made from 12:00-4:00pm while supplies last.

Cannonball Contests

Every Wednesday in July, 1pm

Want to show off your cannonball skills? Every Wednesday in July come participate in a fun cannonball contest at VMP! The contest will begin at 1pm and be open to the public and Camp Discovery. A prize will be awarded to the winner! No prior sign-up required; however,space is limited, 1st come 1st serve basis.

Noodle Night

Fridays June 22, July 27, August 17, 5:00-7:30pm
