Weather Cancellation Policy
If the South Windsor schools are cancelled, preschool classes will also be cancelled. If the public schools have a delayed opening, morning preschool classes that start before 12:00pm will be cancelled, but afternoon preschool classes, that start after 12:00pm will be conducted as long as weather conditions improve. Always call the Hotline Number (860-648-6349), tune to WTIC AM radio or watch WFSB Channel 3 for the most recently updated information. With the exception of aquatics programs, make-up classes will be scheduled based on facility and instructor availability. Partial refunds will be given if two or more of the same class can-not be rescheduled.
For updated information on program cancellations due to inclement weather, please call our Cancellation Hot Line at (860)648-6349. The South Windsor Recreation Department reserves the right to change schedules as necessary and cancel programs that do not meet minimum enrollment levels.

If you appear impaired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will suggest that you allow us to help find someone to drive you and your child home. We will notify proper authorities if refused.
