Emergency Contact Forms
For your child’s safety, all parents/guardians of preschool participants will be required to fill out an Emergency Contact Information Form before the start of the Preschool Program. This form will include emergency contact information, pick-up authorizations, allergy and special needs information and will be valid for the entire 2008/2009 School Year. Teachers will ask everyone who is picking up children from a preschool program to show identification before that child will be permitted to leave the program. Children will only be allowed to leave with people documented on the Emergency Contact Information Form under the Pick-up Authorization Section. Please remember this is for the safety of your children.

Potty Training
Although we do not require children to be potty trained, the South Windsor Recreation Preschool Program does not have a facility that will allow the changing of diapers. If your child does have a accident during the program, it will up to the teacher’s discretion if the parent will be called and asked to come change their child.
In the case of an emergency, please contact the Child Development Coordinator at 648-6353 or the Recreation Department at 648-6355.

Halloween Party
Join your teachers and friends on Monday Oct. 27th from 5:00pm-6:30pm in the Banquet Hall of the Community Center for this costume party for all children and their families registered for any of our current preschool classes. Activities will include crafts, games, snacks and trick-or-treating!

Parent & Child Classes
These classes are recommended for children not yet comfortable being away from a parent/caregiver or are new to our preschool programs. These programs will help acclimate your child(ren) to our center and familiarize them with the staff members. As a result, transitions to independent classes will be easier for them and you.
