Beginner Basketball

Beginner Basketball is designed for boys and girls in grades 3 and 4. Practices and games are used as opportunities to learn basic rules of basketball and develop skills in a non competitive encouraging environment. Coaches and officials will use teachable moments to help players learn rules and develop good sportsmanship practices while gaining skills and making new friends. Players are randomly selected to teams based on their practice availability. Requests for specific teammates will not be honored. Scores are not kept in Beginner games. The season ends with a Beginner Basketball Extravaganza in early March.

Registration for the 2012-2013 Beginner Girls Season will begin in late August.

Beginner Girls is open to South Windsor residents and non residents.

The registration deadline is October 26th. Register before October 5th and receive a $20 discount off the $100 registration fee.
